Scotty
Stinger... Email Me...
Scotty has been a larger than life frontman for more than a decade
with a few career bands under his belt, he has honed his craft to new heights
which makes him the perfect choice for our dual vocal attack of Bon Scott and
Brian Johnson...his energy is unlimited and his vocal technique is undeniably
AC/DC...from the moment he lets loose with his first note until the last phase
of the final song Scotty will have you in his power...Scotty has been with three
major touring bands in the northeastern U.S. his first venture was with Wicked
Lester where he did every hair band song from The Crue to Judas Priest...with
that kind of range it was an easy transition for him to make the move to an
original band of Speed and Thrash Metal thus came Metalourd he continue with
them for a few seasons until a division of direction sent him back to Wicked
Lester...and of course now he is in his prime singing with Fat Angus....with the
range of both of AC/DC's vocalists, Scotty has to be in top form to pull it
off...and believe it there is no mistaking it some nights you could close your
eyes and you'd think you were hearing Bon all over again...as far as we go with
this, Scotty will be the driving vocal behind Fat Angus period...Scotty uses
only Shure products because he wants to be sure his performance will be top
notch every time...Scotty's Mission Statement: I've fronted many bands in the
past, and this is the first band in a long time in which I "REALLY"
just have fun...I mean the music, the crowds being so receptive on every song,
is just a supernatural sense of euphoria...I just know this is the band I've
always wanted to be in...Where ever this path may lead us, I'm sure I'll be
richer in my musical life for embarking on this trail of melodic mayhem....
Fat
Angus... Email Me...
With a Gibson guitar strapped to his back F.A. pulls you into a
cornicopia of vintage "Angus" tones from his Marshall rig...from the
Velvet Schoolboy uniform to his all-out rig, he has painstakingly worked to
emulate "the Tone" along with the image of Angus Young...he has
totally got it down with a solid backing core of musicians...F.A. is able to
transform you to the sights and sounds of an actual AC/DC concert...for upwards
of two and a half hours of playing without a break its like being in a coliseum
watching the boys from down under unleashing then signature licks and songs...F.A.
started his trek for guitar fame with the forming of The Knights...a band that
he later left to go on to a national touring act but still has fond memories
of...that band later became Metalourd an established high-energy Metal band from
which he had witnessed the talents of F.A.'s current frontman, Scotty Stinger...F.A.
left The Knights for a national touring and EMI Recording Artists, Lightyear...This
band, was an established act based out of Miami Fla...The best twist of this
venture was in that F.A.'s brother was the lead guitarist in Lightyear this gave
F.A. the right chance to learn his chops first hand from his own blood...you
know, great minds and brothers usually think alike and such was the case here...F.A.
learned much in those five years on the road with Lightyear and it shows now
with the current line-up in Fat Angus...F.A. was in many other projects between
1990 and 1999 but, he had his mind set on doing this tribute and set out to
accomplish just that...the current line-up has been through many incarnations
but now F.A. feels he has the crew to take this to the next level...with an
Ax-slinger like F.A, and all that he entails there is no telling how far and how
long this tribute will be rockin' you....F.A. uses only Gibson SG's along with A
Marshall Full Stack, straight into the amp no pedals or processing, "to get
the tone, you got to be the tone" and he also uses EV Wireless for his
rig...F.A.'s Mission Statement: I believe in Rock n Roll, nothing keeps you more
alive and vibrant than playing in front a sea of faces getting off as much as I
am getting off playing for them...I have the talent to take this great crew of
players as far as they want to go, whatever they want i will back them
100%...ROCK ON BROTHERS AND SISTERS...
Tim
"Rude"... Email Me...
Like the thunder from down under Tim "Rude" will
keep you heart pounding and body shaking...Tim is the SOLID part of Fat Angus he
is the backbone of a well rounded rhythm section...Tim got his training the hard
way, high school marching band...and from there he was hooked on the Drums...he
has taken professional instruction and now just likes showing off to the crowd
at the gigs...all the women love Tim because he has the hardest instrument and
he keeps them excited all night long...Tim has not acquired his ultimate kit as
of yet but, continues to search for it DW for Christmas? Hmm Maybe...his tone is
large and menacing, while he can be as dynamic as a jazz softshoe working with
the brushes...for the moment Tim has stated " I will be the next Big Thing
I can assure you that...as soft spoken as he is, Tim is like Merrill Lynch when
he speaks Fans listen...Tim's Gear is as follows: Tama Rockstar 5 pc set with an
additional 18" floor tom, for cymbals nothing but Zildjian's will do, Evans
Heads are the only ticket, while his main kick pedal is a Iron Cobra he says
it's so fast he could bring Bonzo back from beyond to show him how...his main
influences are Phil Rudd and John Bonham "of course" T-Bone...with all
of this going for him the future is nothing but sunny...Tim Rude's Mission
Statement: I would love to play for or with AC/DC on stage that would be
enough...for now...As I continue to perfect my craft, I can only say: "I'm
just so happy I've found an AC/DC Band to become my best in...
Mike
Williams... Email Me...
A riot act, from the getgo, this low-end pounder lets everyone know
he is the bottom-end of the group...made from quality Maiden stock Mike has been
play on the down-low for what seems to be decades when in fact it has only been
one...with a predominantly Metal background, Mike has been through all the
top-40 hell and has finally come to rest with Fat Angus...Mike has been in
several original projects in his native area some with great success he has
released a few compilation CDs in a three piece format and as you know those are
the hardest to keep everything full and productive with taste and style and yet
the panache of some of the great bassists...Mike's favorite Bassist is no doubt,
from Iron Maiden a band in which Mike takes his heart to and brings back the
song on his sleeve...Mike has said on many occasaions " I'm only as good as
my last performance " a quote well devised and carried out with the same
steadiness his puts forth during his performances...Mike's Equipment is
State-of-the-Art, he has, and will always be, a G-K man nothing else will
do...for him...Mike incorporates both a 4-string and a 5-string bass in he
routines..."Sometimes you just need more bottom that's why i use the
5-string" Mike says...Mike's Mission Statement: " I just want to play
my Bass in the best Band that i can be a part of and that band is Fat Angus I
think that says it all....Oh! Don't Forget The Babes !!!!

Malcolm
Rayman... Email Me...
Looking for Chords? you ever hear that song "Sultans of
Swing?" "check out guitar George he knows all the chords"...well
as Fat Angus' latest edition you could say The Rayman definately knows them all
without Rayman, and the rest of the rhythm section well, you just couldn't have
a show...Mal Rayman brings over a decade of playing experience with him to the
F.A. table...he has been in so many different playing styles with so many bands
i could right for a year and not get them all...his technique and timing are
flawless allowing the rest of the rhythm section to keep it in the pocket, no
roaming here just like a cell phone in it's range....Raymans influences are many
but he does have a soft spot for Stevie Ray Vaughn and of course, Eric Clapton....Mal
uses a Gretsch Double-Jet Red with a Marshall half stack to keep the tone in
it's place...not to clean but far from distortion the subtle nuances between
clean and hard tones Mal Rayman does them all...he uses a plectrum like some
painters use their brush, composing a symphony of AC/DC Rhythms that Angus would
say "WHAT? that's it AAY!!! Mal Rayman's Mission Statement: " I love
AC/DC and to finally be in a band that tributes them i have hit a new height in
my playing career...I know that, when I play this music perfectly then someone
out there in the audience can be swept off to a place not far away...the sign
post up ahead say you have entered..."The AC/DC Zone"...
